The Bear 1000 Piece Puzzle

This 1000-piece family puzzle is designed by Chipewyan-Dene artist, John Rombough. Developed by the Canadian company, Oscardo, which works closely with Indigenous artists from across North America to bring different forms of Indigenous art into your life. Artists collaborated in the design process, in order to share their unique visions and stories. Each box includes an artist biography to connect you to the artist behind the art.
The Bear by John Rombough depicts a brown bear illustrated in traditional Dene formline and colours, surrounded by trees and ravens. Rombough says, “On an early spring morning, the bear in his elements is walking alongside grandfather rocks. As the Ancestors watch over the land, the Ravens welcome the bear from a long winter's nap.”
