In 2012, the Museum of Anthropology presented Kesu’, a retrospective exhibition on the art and life of Kwakwaka’wakw artist Doug Cranmer (1927–2006). A self-proclaimed “whittler” and “doodler,” Cranmer’s understated and elegant style quickly found an international following.
