About the artist:
Angela Kimble is a talented Coast Salish/Nuu-Cha-Nulth artist from Tsawout First Nations in Saanich, BC. She is known for her dynamic work that bridges traditional Indigenous themes with a modern twist. Growing up in Victoria, she often assisted her father, master carver Doug La Fortune, by painting carvings and totems, which sparked her passion for art. Inspired by her heritage, Kimble developed her own contemporary style of Coast Salish art, often drawing freehand and painting on canvases and wood. Her work beautifully merges tradition with modern creativity, making this colouring book a meaningful exploration of Indigenous culture and holiday spirit.
