This luxurious woven blanket makes for a dignified addition to any home. Renowned Haida artist Bill Reid created this striking Children of the Raven design in 1976. The original artwork is now in the collections of the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau, Quebec. This blanket is a licensed reproduction.

One of the most influential and well-known Haida artists of the twentieth century, the late Bill Reid was born in Victoria in 1920. Some of Reid’s best-known works include the yellow cedar sculpture The Raven and the First Men at MOA (1980), and The Spirit of Haida Gwaii jade canoe at the YVR Airport (1994). Reid’s life and work inspired countless First Nations artists and helped to revitalize Haida art in the twentieth century.
