Afrisocks is a group of Ghanaian entrepreneurs who love anything colourful and have decided to bring West Africa's vibrant colours to your face with their 3-layer face mask. With much respect to tradition, they put a modern twist on Kente, Ankara, and other traditional designs. The design, "Dumsor", is named after a popular Ghanaian slang which means "off and on". The word is derived from the Ashanti-Twi dialect spoken in Ghana.
Afrisocks is inspired by traditional Ghanaian Kente patterns. Originally, Kente was woven cloth worn by chiefs and royal families. Nowadays Kente has become quite popular, and is now used by many West Africans in Ghana and beyond, and now, to you too!
