Ben Houstie is a Heiltsuk artist born in Waglisla (Bella Bella), British Columbia in 1960. He started making artwork at a very young age and is now a versatile artist working with paint, wood, silver and gold. He is best known for his paintings and honours his cultural background through his artwork, hoping to share and preserve it for future generations.
