This cedar wood pendant features a bear paw design inlaid with an abalone shell, by  Kwakwakaʼwakw artist and MOA Shop featured artist Lou-Ann Neel. Lou-Ann is an accomplished multidisciplinary artist who has worked in wood, paint, jewelry design, fashion, illustration and graphic design throughout her decades-long career. Her work is greatly influenced by her grandmother, Ellen Neel (Ka’kasolas), and her great-grandfather, Charlie James (Yakuglas).

The Bear symbolizes the highest level of friendship and embodies strength, healing and unconditional support.
