This wood necklace depicts a Moon mask with abalone inlay by Coast Salish artist, Shain Jackson, from the community of Sechelt. As well as an artist and the President of Spirit Works Limited, Jackson is also a lawyer who has represented the interests of Indigenous communities and organizations throughout British Columbia in relation to a broad array of issues. After years devoted to the legal profession, Jackson has taken a break to follow his passion as an artist.

The Moon crest is a visionary dreamer and is known for having an optimistic view of the world.
