Moon Mask Wood Pendant
Shain Jackson
This wood necklace depicts a Moon mask with abalone inlay by Coast Salish artist Shain Jackson from the community of Sechelt. As well as an artist and the president of Spirit Works, Jackson is also a lawyer who has represented the interests of Indigenous communities and organizations throughout British Columbia in relation to a broad array of issues. After years devoted to the legal profession, Jackson has taken a break to follow his passion as an artist.
The Moon crest is a visionary dreamer and is known for having an optimistic view of the world.
