This hard leather purse made in Ghana is one of a kind. It features a gorgeous mix of violet leather throughout, with greenish-yellow marbled leather stitched on the top and sides of the bag for a beautiful contrast. The inside of the bag is one spacious compartment, including a unique, red design with typography and other mixed media. The purse can be closed with the leather fringe latch pictured and can be held as a top-strap or over-the-shoulder purse for comfort.

Traditional and contemporary leather works are produced in Ashanti, Northern and Upper East Regions of Ghana. Students are trained to learn the various skills required to complete basic leatherwork projects such as cutting leather, making decorations, stitching, lacing, etc. By studying and practicing leatherwork, young Ghanian students develop creative skills which can lead to a lifelong career.
