The Two Sisters is a Squamish origin story of the Lower Mainland’s Ch'ich'iyúy Elxwíkn (Twin Sisters). A pair of pointed peaks along Vancouver's North Shore Mountains, well known as "The Lions." Over a century ago, The Two Sisters was told to Mohawk poet Pauline Johnson (Tekahionwake) by Chief Joe Capilano, of the Squamish Nation.
